Program Objectives
Master of Architecture Program aims to educate professionals who will guide international and national quests in the field of architecture, contribute to the production of knowledge, and take part in both architectural disciplines and interdisciplinary professional debates.
Doğuş University Master of Architecture Program aims to evaluate the discipline of architecture in a broad perspective. The program does not perceive architecture merely as a profession but also as a tradition and a cultural value at the same time. As a profession, architecture, art, technology, sociology and other branches of science are closely related. It represents developed, multi-layered and rich tradition throughout the history, and the knowledge of this tradition is carried over to future generations. Master of Architecture program aims not only to guide students during the journey among these disciplines but also aims to contribute to the production of both theoretical and practical knowledge at the same time.
Program Structure
Doğuş University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, MS in Architecture is a master's program in the fields of Architecture, Urban Design and Building Technologies.
The program is completed in 4-6 semesters. The required credit for graduation is 30 ECTS. Master's thesis will be carried out and completed in the 3rd and 4th semesters. The program’s language is Turkish. Lessons are held between 6 pm and 9 pm during weekdays (four days a week).
