Doğuş University ETİK Club's Technical Visit to Borsa İstanbul

The Economics, International Trade, and Business Club (ETİK), operating under the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Doğuş University, organized a technical visit to Borsa Istanbul under the guidance of its advisor, Prof. Dr. Halit Targan Ünal. The event, aimed at enabling students to observe financial markets firsthand and meet industry professionals, welcomed the participation of 65 students.,

At Borsa İstanbul, students were welcomed by Chief Expert Alper Ayden. They then attended a comprehensive presentation on the functioning of Borsa İstanbul, market structure, financial instruments, and technological infrastructure. Within the scope of the event, Prof. Dr. Erişah Arıcan, Chairman of the Borsa İstanbul Board of Directors, and General Manager Korkmaz Ergun also provided information to the students regarding the institution's vision, the development of Turkey's capital markets, and the role of youth in the finance sector.

Participants had the opportunity to closely observe the working environment of the stock exchange, interact directly with professionals, and ask questions about the industry. The technical visit was highly productive in terms of increasing students' financial literacy and contributing to their career planning.

ETİK Club aims to continue organizing such events that combine academic knowledge with industry experience in the coming terms.
