Major / Minor Conditions
DMP
Application and Admission Requirements;
- Applications will be made through OBS (Student Information System).
- Major undergraduate program students can apply at the earliest at the beginning of the 3rd and latest at the beginning of the 5th semester, while the students of the major associate program can apply at the earliest at the beginning of the 2nd and
latest 3rd semester.
- In order for the student to apply for the DAP, he must have successfully completed all the courses he took in the major program he attended until the term he applied for, his GPA must be at least 3.00 and he must be in the top 20% of the major program
in terms of success in the relevant class.
- Students who want to study in Turkish programs and do DAP in English programs must pass the DUİYES exam or certify that they have been successful in international and national exams whose equivalence is accepted by Doğuş University's authorized units.
- Foreign students whose mother tongue is not Turkish, if they want to do DAP in programs conducted in Turkish, have to certify that their Turkish knowledge is at a sufficient level by participating in the exams of the relevant institutions.
- Candidates applying to Doğuş University's programs requiring special talent must pass the special talent exams held by the mentioned programs and be successful.
- In case the number of applications exceeds the quota determined by the faculty, priority is given to the one with a high GPA. When the overall grade point average is equal, the percentage of the student in the success order of the major program is
checked.
- Applications are made through OBS (Student Information System). It is evaluated by the Faculty/Directorate/School. The result of the evaluation is announced with the date in the academic calendar.
- It is not possible to enroll in more than one double major program at the same time.
- It is possible to enroll in a double major and minor program at the same time.

Minor
Application and Admission Requirements;
- Applications will be made through OBS (Student Information System).
- The student can apply to the minor program at the beginning of the 3rd semester at the earliest and the 6th semester at the latest.
- Associate degree students cannot apply for a minor program.
- In order for the student to apply for the minor program, he/she must have successfully completed all the courses in the undergraduate program he/she is enrolled in until the semester he/she applies and must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 at the time of
application.
- Students who want to study in the Turkish department and do a minor in the English departments must pass the DUİYES exam or certify that they have been successful in the international or national exams whose equivalence is accepted by the authorized
units of Doğuş University.
- Foreign students whose mother tongue is not Turkish, if they want to do a minor in programs conducted in Turkish, have to certify that their Turkish knowledge is at a sufficient level by participating in the Turkish proficiency exams of the relevant
institutions.
- Candidates applying to Doğuş University's programs that require special talent must pass the special talent exams held by the mentioned programs and be successful.
