Student Council
The Student Council was established with the aim of determining students’ views on meeting the educational, health, sporting and cultural needs of students enrolled in the University’s associate degree, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, communicating these views to the governing bodies, and fostering communication between the governing bodies and students.
Comprising department representatives elected by students across all departments at our University, and faculty representatives selected by these department representatives, the Student Council works to strengthen relations between students and the administration within the framework of fostering a democratic and free university environment; its activities are supported and overseen by the Directorate of Health, Culture and Sports Services.
