Excitement for the New Academic Year at Doğuş University

Doğuş University welcomed the 2024-2025 academic year with a grand ceremony. The first lesson was delivered by Aslıhan Koruyan Sabancı and Princess Tılsım Von Liechtenstein.

The Opening Ceremony for the 2024-2025 Academic Year was held at the Çengelköy Campus. After the opening speech by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yelda Özkoçak, students who ranked first in their admission scores and faculty valedictorians received their awards. Eda Kaya, graduate of the Faculty of Art and Design, received the first-place plaque.

The first lesson of the academic year was given by Aslıhan Koruyan Sabancı and Sintermetal CEO Princess Tılsım Von Liechtenstein. During the ceremony, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Expert Prof. Dr. Doğan Erbahar delighted attendees with a piano performance. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of excellence awards to Engineering Faculty members Prof. Dr. Kazem Azizi and Şahram Minayi, who were included in Stanford University's Top 2% Scientists List.
