Quality Focused Strategic Meetup in Doğuş University

Doğuş University hosted a strategic meeting centered on quality and corporate excellence. Bringing together KalDer representatives and university leadership, the discussion focused on sustainable quality in higher education and potential collaboration opportunities.

Doğuş Üniversitesi–Dudullu OSB Collaboration Continues Strongly

The meeting held between DOU and Dudullu OSB, started with a Meddah show performed by our Acting student Mirali Murat Celen, and humanoid robot Dora. Topics like university-industry cooperation, accreditation, post graduate programs and joint projects were discussed in the meeting.

Collaboration Meeting Held Between Doğuş University and TEKNOFEST

Led by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Erkut Altındağ, the Doğuş University delegation visited TEKNOFEST Secretary General Muhammet Saymaz to discuss potential cooperation. The meeting focused on joint projects, student competitions, and academic contributions.

AI as a Pedagogical Partner in Language Education

DOUKAS Team Attended the Eureko Insurance Conference: “The Power of Transformation: Turning Risks into Opportunities in Sustainability”

The team from Doğuş University’s Carbon Footprint and Sustainability Application and Research Center (DOUKAS) attended the conference titled “The Power of Transformation: Turning Risks into Opportunities in Sustainability,” hosted by Eureko Insurance in collaboration with Entes Electronic in Altunizade. During the event, industry representatives shared their strategies for turning the challenges they face in their sustainability journeys into opportunities. Participants had the chance to evaluate the impacts of climate change on various sectors, the reflections of sustainable development policies on the business world, companies’ carbon management and reduction processes, as well as digital and green transformation practices. These sessions provided participants with both up-to-date information and sectoral perspectives, offering new horizons for their sustainability efforts. As the DOUKAS team, we actively participate in sectoral events to contribute to knowledge sharing and transformation processes in the field of sustainability.

Doğuş University Lecturer Ali Batuhan Yıldız’s Workshop Leadership Accepted at an International Conference

Lecturer at Doğuş University (DOU), has been appointed as the chair of Workshop 1 titled “Beyond Automation: Human-Centered AI for the Future of Online Learning”, which will be held as part of the International Human-Computer Interaction for Industrial Applications (HCIA 2026) Conference. The workshop has been officially accepted following the evaluation of the conference’s scientific committee. Accordingly, Lecturer Ali Batuhan Yıldız will represent Doğuş University (DOU) at the conference as the Workshop Chair. The HCIA 2026 Conference will be held in Singapore on December 3–4, 2026. As Doğuş University, we congratulate him for his academic contributions.

Our Latest Visitor from Another Star System: 3I/ATLAS (C/2025 N1)

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihan Katırcı, a faculty member at our university, has conducted research on the unique composition and possible origin of the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS. The comet’s unusual motion and high nickel content have sparked significant interest and curiosity within the scientific community.
